Very disappointed I purchased a beautiful Loroco plant from Richard's nursery at a Plumeria festival for $45, since we had just arrived and didn't want to carry it around for hours Richard tied a white plastic bag around the bottom, wrote, my name on it, and set it aside for me because I had already paid. About 3 hours later, I returned to pick it up and he couldn't find it. I was told someone must have taken it. It was disappointing because it was a large plant and I would have expected paid items set aside for customers to be monitored more carefully. He offered me a refund or a replacement, but the replacement looked nothing like the plant I had originally chosen. I ended up taking another plant even though I wasn't happy with it because I had been looking forward to bringing that specific one home. What disappointed me most was the lack of customer service. There was no apology beyond the refund/replacement offer, no discount and no effort to make the situation feel right. When a customer has already paid and their purchase is lost, I believe they should feel valued. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience.

Took the avocado grafting class. It was perfect! Got a little crowded not allow names were written down but the class went great! We grafted an avocado zutano with hass. Very happy hopefully it lives. Instructor was super knowledgeable, Bruce knows his stuff. The nursery needs a bit more love and care but I can see it must be difficult to keep up since it is massive! Ricardo and his wife Juanita were friendly and very knowledgeable as well. If plants were perfectly organized and kept I would have given 5 stars.

They have fruit tree varieties you can't get anywhere else, and lots of them, plus native plants from flowers to trees. Cherimoyas, guavas, tons of avocados, tamarillo, sages, sumacs, great stuff. Staff are super helpful I love this place, I already bought 4 trees and I'm looking for an excuse to come back!! Both of the Mexican guavas I bought lit up and started pushing new growth as soon as I put them in the ground. The owners and staff really care about what they sell.

We came here to purchase the purple Frederick's passion fruit plant. Ricardo was so friendly. He showed us around his nursery and also gave us some fruits to sample. We loved the ice cream bean fruit. We just wish we had space in our backyard for the plant. He also gave us tips on plants we had purchased elsewhere and were not doing that well. I highly recommend this place. If he does not have any plants you're looking for, he will recommend nurseries around that may carry them.
